No. Traditional first-come systems tend to favor the most aggressive bookers and create disputes. BookIQ enforces fairness through allotments, hold credits, peak season caps, and a holiday rotation — all of which scale with your stake.
Yes. You can use your nights for short weekend getaways, combine them into longer vacations, or split them across the year. There is a maximum stay length per booking (14 nights per 1/8 share owned), so a 1/4 owner can stay up to 28 nights at a time, and a 1/2 owner up to 56.
Holidays like Christmas and Independence Day are allocated through a fair-share process: each year, owners with a larger stake receive proportionally more holiday claims, and the system tracks history so it stays balanced over time. Peak season (December 15 to March 31, plus all of July) has a separate cap that scales with your share.
Annual allotments reset on January 1. Unused nights do not roll over to the following year. The system is designed to encourage active use of the home throughout the year.
Yes. A 7-night gap is required between any two stays booked by the same owner at the same property. This ensures the home is available to other owners between your visits.
